Welcome to Dickinson Hall

Opened in 1968, Dickinson Hall houses more than 275 primarily first-year students in a close-knit, welcoming community. Named for John W. Dickinson, one of Westfield State’s early leaders, the hall blends historic charm with modern comfort.

Recent renovations added updated furniture, lighting, windows, flooring, and a fire suppression system, creating a safe and inviting living space. Located near Scanlon Hall, Dickinson offers single, double, and quad-style rooms designed for connection and convenience.
